The VDML series of tracking devices is designed to operate with radio networks such as simplex, repeater or trunking systems. The VDML system is easily interfaced to a wide variety of commercial radios from many manufacturers including Vertex, Icom, Motorola etc. If a customer has an existing radio network used for voice communications, the VDML enables GPS tracking to be easily deployed on that same network and can significantly reduce costs for deployment of a tracking system.
The VDML is available in several configurations, including completely portable packages with embedded radios for deployment of turnkey GPS tracking systems in remote areas. Complete systems with fixed or portable base stations and embedded AutoFind tracking software are available.
